2026 WAEC Result Release Date: Expected Date, How to Check Your WASSCE Result Online

The anticipation is almost over for thousands of students who participated in the 2026 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE). As candidates eagerly await their results, many are asking the same question:

When will the 2026 WAEC results be released?

Based on the usual WAEC result processing timeline and current reports, the 2026 WAEC (WASSCE) results for School Candidates are expected to be released between Monday, August 3 and Saturday, August 8, 2026. Reports circulating from reliable education sources point to August 3, 2026, as the likely release date, although candidates should wait for the official announcement from WAEC before treating any specific date as confirmed.

How Long Does WAEC Take to Release Results?

WAEC typically releases WASSCE results about 45 days after the last examination paper has been written. This period allows the Council to:

• Mark examination scripts.
• Moderate scores.
• Process candidates' results.
• Investigate reported cases of examination malpractice.
• Upload verified results to the official result portal.

Although the process usually follows this timeline, the exact release date is determined solely by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).
